Hosting Agreement

We’ll always do our best to fulfill your needs and meet your expectations, but it’s important to have things written down so that we both know what’s what, who should do what and when, and what will happen if something goes wrong. In this agreement you won’t find any complicated legal terms or long passages of unreadable text. We’ve no desire to trick you into signing something that you might later regret. What we do want is what’s best for both parties, now and in the future.

So in short:

You, {companyName}, located at {companyAddress} are hiring us, Sapere Marketing, to host your website for the monthly price of {totalPrice} starting on {startingDate}, as agreed upon in our previous correspondence. Of course it’s a little more complicated, but we’ll get to that.

What do both parties agree to do?

You: You have the authority to enter into this contract on behalf of yourself, your company or your organization. You agree to stick to the payment schedule set out at the end of this contract.

Us: We have the experience and ability to do everything we’ve agreed with you and we’ll do it all in a professional and timely manner. We’ll endeavor to meet every deadline that’s set and on top of that we’ll maintain the confidentiality of everything you give us.

Getting down to the nitty gritty

Should you need to contact us, email is the preferred method. This will ensure a paper trail, allowing both parties to reference any changes requested and approvals made. If there is an immediate need, you may reach us at, please leave a message if we’re unable to answer. We’ll respond to your voicemail in a timely manner.

Technical support

We guarantee 99.99% uptime for your website. Though we’re a website hosting company, we do not offer support for email. Ongoing maintenance and upkeep of our server(s) is critical to your and our business, so overtime, we will update our hardware and software as needed to ensure the uptime of your site.

Legal stuff

You agree to indemnify, save and hold harmless Sapere Marketing from any and all damages, losses, lawsuits, expenses or costs that might arise as a result of claim or action by a third party. This includes any action that involves hacking or other malicious activity by a third party resulting in damage to a clients website, reputation, goodwill or revenue. If your website is hacked, it’s not our fault. It’s entirely possible that bugs, security flaws and compatibility issues which are out of our control may arise with future releases of WordPress. We’ll do everything in our power to rectify the situation as quickly as possible but we are not responsible for any damages or actions that may occur.

If Sapere Marketing created your website, once the site is live, ownership of the site will belong to you. Any changes made while we are hosting the website will need to be done by Sapere Marketing. If you are working with an SEO, or Social Media company please just let us know and we will be happy to work with them to make necessary adjustments. If you have purchased the New Every Two Package, minor changes may be made free of charge. Minor changes may include changes in staff, contact information, etc. Any changes that require new content to be written or a change in design are not considered minor and we can provide a separate estimate for that.
